Dr. Fred R. Shanks

Dr. Shanks, a native of Middle Tennessee, graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He has extensive experience in family eye care seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Shanks' specialty is providing a warm patient caring practice. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Providence Baptist Fellowship.

Donna Shanks

Donna is the office coordinator and insurance counselor at Shanks Family Eyecare. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Austin Peay State University. Teaching kindergarten for several years prepared her to work with insurance companies. Donna is most proud of her and Fred's two sons, Brandon and Brad, and their four grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Jackson, and Mason. Donna is known as Dede to her grandchildren.

Brandon Shanks

Brandon became our lab manager shortly after the establishment of Shanks Family Eyecare. He oversees the operation of the lab to make sure patients glasses are made correctly and promptly. He stays current on the latest in hi-tech lens materials, and new styles of progressive lenses. Brandon's specialty is dealing with people. Everybody Loves Brandon, and Brandon makes everyone feel special.

Pamela Haven

Pamela is Chief of Finances. She has been in the optical field for 15 years and has been a member of the Shanks Eyecare Team for 10 years. She always makes patients feel welcome and comfortable. Her friendly and outgoing personality is sure to make you feel at ease about all your financial decisions. Pamela is also the mother of three beautiful children: Cali ( 8 years old),Kendall (7 years old), and Cory (4 months old.)

Cindy Johnson

Cindy is the Head Stylist. She has been helping patients look their best for 10 years. Cindy takes pride in her work and always makes sure patients love the way they look in their frames. She is also the mother of 2 children, Jacob(5 years old) and Ethan (6 month old).

Sherry Santiago

Sherry is the technician. She has been a member of the Shanks Eyecare Team for 15 years. Sherry is experienced in performing the latest equipment which includes the GDX, Visual Fields, NCT, and Macular Degeneration screener. Sherry loves and is very proud of her little boy, Bosco.
